It's been such a long time since I've posted. I don't even know where to begin. I guess for starters I can't believe it's been two years and three months already since Megan was born. Megan is turning out to be a coquettish little person with strong opinions of her own. Everything from what clothes she wants to wear, what foods she wants to eat and even what activities her parents should engage in at any given point in time. The other day Jinnie and I were talking and Megan steps between us and announced loudly, "No Daddy! Don't talk to Mommy - come here play with me...." I have to say though that being a parent has dramatically altered my perception on life. I no longer take little things for granted - like engaging in 10 minutes of quiet conversation with Jinnie (see above). At the same time I wouldn't give it up for the world - it's also been the most fulfilling thing I have ever done. Watching your baby grow up and learn new things is an absolutely amazing experience.

Together along with our growing family, Jinnie and I decided to purchase our first home. It is not large, and it doesn't even have a yard - or even four standalone walls, but it isn't bad for an area where the median home price is about $500,000. What our house does have, however is a garage and a third bedroom. Megan now gets her own room - though she has yet to actually sleep in it. Oh well, sometime before the next one is born. Our new address is 823 Harrigan Dr., Santa Clara, CA 95054 and our new home phone # is (408) 492-9846. Our castle is a smallish three bedroom townhouse right next to a "park" and conveniently located right next to a little shopping center. We've been told that in the next 2 years they will build a new elementary school within walking distance as well as a library. Given the dramatic cuts in state funding, I am curious if those projects will materialize.

Professionally, PeriCentric is surviving. It is a tough market out there for new projects, but at least until now, we've managed to stay just one step ahead of the curve. I am also working on various other projects that are fun and, I hope, potentially rewarding. Please feel free to drop me a line at any time. All of my email addresses are still valid shane@ "yangclan.com", "pericentric.com", and "radiomp3.com

Regards
